Currently residing in Brooklyn, New York, Trevor Brenden is a self-taught photographer and writer originally from Huntington Beach, California. His work is heavily influenced by his bi-coastal existence, splitting his time the past several years between the excitement of Manhattan and the serene California landscape. With an eye for abstraction highlighting bold subjects, his work has a wide range from portraiture and landscape to lifestyle, surf, and street photography. Trevor's photography and writing reflect a love for nature and a fascination with story-telling, leading him to win the 1st place 2016 Richard Gill Award in Screen Writing for his work entitled Elliot. This website acts as an online portfolio as well as a directory to various locations where his work may be viewed. He self-published his first photography book in 2015, BOUND: The American West, utilizing only word of mouth and crowd funding.
